Like an earth lover in need of a recycle bin, you're a wallflower in search of a friend but socializing is paralyzing and friends aren't always friendly so it's you and your four walls shacked up for the summer with mood-sinking thought cycles and emotions galore stopping by every so often. But you should try to do more than watch your wall paint decay. All that love bottled up is bound to show up in the wrong places (your local cute cashier clerk isn't really "the one" no matter how well they bag your groceries) but also some familiar ones. Places you've gotta learn to leave alone. But I get it. Affection is a confection that melts on the tongue but what we want rarely comes easy and happiness is a heavy mask to wear so try to focus on who's really there, which ultimately is you. Try to be a good host.
